What Is the Micro FUE Technique?
By using micro-punches of 0.6 to 0.8 mm, Micro FUE technique makes it possible to take even smaller hair follicles to transfer to the bald area.
The Micro FUE technique is meticulous and it doesn’t damage the grafts during extraction. We can define the hair transplant with the FUE technique as the capillary micrograft technique for a systematic redistribution of the hair follicles that consists of the introduction of small scalp grafts with the so-called “follicular units”.
These grafts are obtained under local anesthesia from the posterior and/or lateral area of the scalp (what we call donor areas) and, after carefully preparing them under the microscope, they are carefully introduced through microincisions in the bald or alopecic areas. It consists of individually extracting the follicles from the donor area without the need for stitches and without leaving visible scars, these being practically imperceptible. These follicular units of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hairs are extracted accompanied by the perifollicular structures.
What Can I Expect After the Micro FUE Procedure?
In the post-plantation period, the planted hair begins to grow from the first day but as the structure of the colloid will be spoiled, hair is expected to fall starting from the second or third week. In case they fall, they will start to go out again from the channel where they were planted starting from the third month. In the 6th month, more than half will be visible; the planting process will be completed within 1 year. Since the root of the plantation is the own hair of the patient, its color and characteristics are transferred to the area where it is planted. The only difference is that it has displaced. In addition, since the roots are taken from the region, which is coded not to lose any hair, the hair will stay there for the lifetime.
FUE technique is not only used hair planting, but also eyebrow, eyelash, beard, mustache can be planted
